Tracer X

A massive meteor was on a collision course with Earth. The Global Council launched a full nuclear strike to destroy it, supported by a fleet of experimental Tracer X ships tasked with cleaning up the debris.

But the meteor contained unstable Neutronium isotopes — ultra-dense matter found in the cores of collapsed stars. Under the right conditions, Neutronium is capable of releasing an immense burst of electromagnetic energy.

The explosion triggered a massive EMP wave, scrambling the navigation systems of the Tracer X fleet. Each ship began moving in a fixed pattern — drifting left, then right, over and over, without pilot control. Only the weapon systems remained functional.
